The Seed Keeper by Diane Wilson is a fictional book, which follows an Indigenous family over several generations. There are some parts of the book which allude to the Indian boarding schools. I really enjoyed reading this book.
Bringing Our Languages Home is a non-fiction book, which has multiple accounts of Indigenous communities reclaiming and reviving their languages. I also highly recommend this book.
I also really like Saving the Cherokee Language, which is a documentary about the race to save Cherokee. It’s great for learning about why Cherokee is endangered and about how they’re teaching the language to future generations.
